Second* best thing about doing what I'm doing? Seeing folks who "got" #HealthRosetta and then having their career take off like a rocket. I was just taking stock of #HR folks who were early in our journey who are now CEOs, founders, COOs or moved into much bigger companies/roles at other companies because they tamed the beast that has eaten wages, benefits, and more. *Best thing is seeing the life-changing impact on members when a high performance health plan becomes available. People who were terrified of getting sick or accessing the #healthcare system because it guaranteed financial ruin (deductibles higher than life savings which were eviserated by status quo #healthplans) now have world class healthcare available to them. Naturally, that's the best part for HR leaders as well. They shift folks from the "hellthcare" economy which is hell on earth -- high costs, low quality and miserable consumer experience -- to the "wellthcare" economy characterized by a focus on individuals physical and financial well-being and health.

I'm going to focus on what WE CAN control. Mid-Sized Employers do not have to settle for mediocrity in their health plans. Sticking with the same strategy or plan that hasn’t delivered results over the past decade will only keep you frustrated with healthcare. It takes reaching that breaking point when an employer says they've had enough and can no longer continue down the same path. I’ll be diving deeper into these topics in upcoming posts for my forward-thinking network here on LinkedIn—stay tuned! #HR #CFO #Healthcare #MisalignedIncentives

🌟 Health Equity: Helping All Employees on Their Unique Healthcare Journey🌟 As companies rethink and reshape the support they provide their employees and their families, benefits advisors, HR professionals and other benefits decision-makers must continue to prioritize and invest in promoting equitable health care access and outcomes for all. Health care is hard. It's also the most personal journey many of us ever embark upon. A person enters the health care system with their own unique life experiences. Regardless of their gender, sexual orientation, religious views or neighborhood, true health equity is about helping all people by showing them love and care throughout their entire health care journey. In recent years, many companies have focused on various DEI and health equity programs. For self-insured employers facing skyrocketing costs, it's increasingly hard to contain health care spend and still cultivate a thriving, productive workforce while respecting and supporting the unique needs of every employee. of what it is today, the human and financial toll of patients falling through the cracks due to lack of access, poor care coordination, and a systemwide inability to grapple with the complex upstream factors that drive health outcomes was still prevalent. This is James McCarthy. 👇 He’s one of our unsung heroes at Workvivo (well, he’s not; he's actually loved by all 💚 😉 He’s dedicated hours to putting this research together with the marketing team at Workvivo.
