ARE YOU BUILDING THE BUSINESS MINDSET OF YOUR CHILDREN? Being judges at the first ever Watoto Christian International School children's business fair last September was truly thrilling and inspiring. For TONY HASAHYA and I, business ownership was an added advantage to our judging acumen. We were particularly excited that the administration, headed by Principal Esther Allen Nakamwa would interest children from 3 years and up to start to embrace business skills from childhood. We witnessed commendable skills in production, marketing, negotiation, etc. We introduced business skills to our children two years ago by providing them with startup capital and launching them into the real world. By also involving them in our family business and gradually increasing their responsibilities, we've cultivated their decision-making, risk-taking, and learning abilities. Why is early business education so important? 1️⃣ Encourages out-of-the-box thinking and problem-solving skills. 2️⃣ Teaches the value of money, budgeting, and saving. 3️⃣ Empowers children to take risks and learn from failures. 4️⃣ Equips them with essential skills for future success Could the business struggles we have as adults stem from a lack of early business education? How can we integrate these skills into both our children's upbringing and our own education systems for future business success? Let's inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs! Just imagine the adult entrepreneurs they'll be! #earlychildhoodeducation #entrepreneurship #business #childdevelopment #futureleaders
