I've found my ways to manage pre-vacation stress and ensure a smooth departure:
🏃♂️ Pace yourself: Don’t try to do everything at once. Focus on completing the most critical tasks first and leave some buffer time for unexpected issues.
📢 Communicate proactively: Let your team and clients know about your upcoming vacation early. This will give everyone time to prepare and minimize disruptions while you’re away.
🔄 Automate where possible: Set up automated email responses and other systems to handle routine tasks while you're away. This can help keep things running smoothly without your constant attention.

I don’t know about you, but I am ready for a super fun weekend. This is the perfect time to dream about those soon to be had summer vacations.
Close your eyes and picture your favorite vacation spot. Do you have it in your mind? Be honest… What is it about this spot that you love? What is it that keeps you coming back?
Now, imagine if your home felt like that. I know… It would be incredible.
If you can, take a moment and use all of your senses to pick out your favorite smells, sights, sounds, textures, and tastes of your favorite vacation spot.
Here’s where the fun part comes in. This weekend, try to bring your vacation spot to life at home.
🌴Put on that magic music or natural sounds.
🌴Fill your home with those amazing smells using candles, oil diffuser, or by cooking that delicious vacation meal.
🌴Pour yourself that boat drink or grab a signature treat that reminds you of your spot.
🌴Maybe you can even add a touch of nature or something you can look at or hold that sparks a vacation vibe.
By enhancing your space with things you love about vacation, you can shift the energy and create a tranquil space. What an amazing way to live.

Vacation used to be a HUGE stressor for me. I'd book a trip, let it sneak up, and end up stressed before, during, and after. Here are my 🔑 takeaways from episode 17, “Vacation State of Mind”:
1️⃣ Vacation is a 3-Phase Experience:
Prepare: Start early, stay organized, and tie up loose ends.
Transition: Shift to vacation mode slowly and take travel days easy.
Vacation: Be intentional and flexible, avoid over-scheduling, and embrace relaxation.
2️⃣Flexible Mindset:
Adapt and have backup plans.
Embrace unexpected changes.
3️⃣Transition Gracefully:
Buffer day post-vacation to unpack and ease back in.
4️⃣Unplug Smartly:
Set tech boundaries, prioritize urgent matters, and communicate availability.
