The most common ways to induce overload is through more sets, reps, or external resistance yet it is important to consider all of the ways training can be progressively overloaded. Working with my track & field athletes has challenged me both mentally and physically to develop a training framework while also growing my movement library. Training for elite speed requires careful considerations of the demands of the sport!
