The history of St Helena is fascinating and touches many aspects of world history. Discovered by the Portuguese in 1502, it has since been in British possession, only being briefly taken over by the Dutch in 1633. The island became a port of strategic importance until the opening of the Suez Canal and the advent of steamships. The island’s remote location meant it was used as a place of exile for key prisoners, including some 6,000 Boers, Chief Dinnizulu, Bahraini princes, and Napoleon, who died on St Helena. The Island also played an important role during the abolition of slavery. This heritage provides a significant legacy of fortifications, remains, historic buildings, and what has been described as “the quintessential Atlantic port” - Jamestown. Situated in the middle of the South Atlantic Ocean, this small British island territory is one of the remotest places on Earth. Statia recently joined Saba and St Maarten in hosting the weeklong 4th Dutch Caribbean Heritage Platform. The Statia leg of the programme included tours to heritage sites, including the Dutch Reform Church, the synagogue and Lower Town, as well as workshops and plenary sessions. The SSS islands have a rich heritage that encompasses a blend of Dutch, African, European and Caribbean influences, resulting in a unique cultural tapestry. Heritage plays a crucial role in shaping the cultural identity of communities. By preserving and celebrating their heritage, the people of these islands can maintain a sense of belonging and connection to their past. Le Mont-Saint-Michel is a granite rock (78 m height) in the Gulf of Saint-Malo (NV France) in the English Sea, where the most representative phenomenon of flow and flow manifests: during the flow it is an island, communication with the continental territory is interrupted, and during the flow it becomes a peninsula, a tongue of sand coming out Give it all to you.. The rock is occupied by a village (about 41 inhabitants) and a fortified monastery (built starting from the 8th century, until the 12th - 14th centuries).. It played an important role in the history of France, being the only place that could not be conquered by the English armies during the "100 Years War". Currently, it is one of the most visited places in France, (with 3,200,000 visitors annually).. A gravel road, lately, provides a permanent connection to the coast of Brittany... 🇫🇷👌🫴

Sturt was able to establish that the Murrumbidgee and Darling rivers flowed into a much larger river, which he named the Murray River, which flowed west into the Southern Ocean. These are individuals who: - May be new Canadians - Never had an opportunity to learn a second language - Never had an opportunity to learn YOUR second language - May have learning disabilities but have tremendous value - Come from a lower socio economic family and had to focus on livelihood rather than or is it because you are looking for a specific socio-economic and racial group almost exclusively located in the National Capital region? A form of nepotism perhaps? Glad you're proud to be Canadian - Any reason you support your employer ensuring that 80% of Canadians aren't allowed to be Public Servants? Any reason you won't even address your hypocrisy? Any reason you have no interest in receiving feedback for improvement?
