With so many joys and tasks to handle each day, it's easy to focus on getting things done rather than taking a moment to celebrate the victories and also share them on media channels. Two things I missed to share: 1. The Cassini Business Accelerator Batch 2 results 🏆 and 2. the beginning of Batch #3 🏃.  Let's start with some numbers. 21 startups in Batch #2 over the 6 months have: 🛰️ € 117 M collectively secured equity-based funding; 🛰️ € 20 M raised from other sources of private funding; 🛰️ € 6.3 M secured public funding; 🛰️ 4602 generated sales leads; 🛰️ 127 made sales deals (a total cumulative value of € 24.4 M); and so much more impact! It is a GRAVE concern that we are all sleep walking into obliteration of justice system in the United States. Following are some observations mainly from patent system perspective, INCESTUOUS relationship among judges and lawyers being the biggest part of the problem: -Former lawyers with deep big law firm associations are judges/decision makers including at PTAB and the Director of USPTO, and they frequently go back to law firms, creating conflicts (they watch the interests of their big law firm associates and their clients who are biggest revenue generators for the law firm). -Big corporation representatives are sitting on advisory boards to USPTO watching big corporations' interests. -Similar issues in the broader justice system... former/future lawyers are judges and they basically rule in favor of their former/future clients, big corporations. -When a matter is at a court against the government, funders (mostly lawyers) are reluctant to fund actions against government, because of same incest (e.g., these funders have clerked under judges); and district attorneys and judges, working for the government, are colleagues and partners. What has happened and is happening to the United States is very sad!!!
