PLMA International in Amsterdam has launched a multi-language online survey for European member manufacturers and retailers, conducted by SurveyLab.
The survey covers key topics like manufacturer-retailer relationships, environmental and societal impacts on supply chains, product innovation, and private label growth. Insights gathered will enhance the annual World of Private Label Trade Show and other programmes.
Findings will be shared in a comprehensive report this fall and discussed at PLMA’s Private Label Summit, October 29-30, in Milan.

Recently, I had the privilege of attending LogiPharma. Pivotal themes are still the one shaping the future of our profession: technology, sustainability, financial pressures, supply disruptions, value/volume shifts, and innovative delivery solutions to patients.
My key takeaway for this 2024 session are the following :
Supply Chain is more than ever a modelling function no longer confined to the operational backend; it has emerged as the powerhouse of innovation and transformation. External pressures, such as technological advancements and sustainability imperatives, have propelled supply chain professionals into the spotlight. Leveraging technologies like machine learning and demand sensing, enhancing service levels, reducing cycle times, and creating end-to-end digital solutions for transparency are a must.
Navigating Disruptions: from Credibility to Resilience
Disruption, foreseen or unforeseen is the new normal. However, it has also afforded us a level of credibility, visibility, and resilience that brings tangible value to commercial organisations.
