Our engineering team is excited! We added a Bambu Lab X1 Carbon 3D printer to our 3D printer lab. The filament management system included allows us to print a prototype that includes multiple materials. 3D printers are essential to our engineers for rapid prototyping. Designing pharma-grade custom automated equipment requires a bit of trial and error. The ability to print prototypes quickly with a 3D printer helps us find solutions without having to send designs out to machining, saving us precious time and resources.

Behold the PLATYPUS X12 in action, constructing the Southern Hemisphere's first two-storey 3D printed structure! This awe-inspiring feat is a testament to the PLATYPUS X12's unique capabilities, as the only printer in Australia capable of reaching such heights. Whether you're in NSW, South Australia, Western Australia, or overseas, nothing compares when it comes to building real houses. To elevate your printing capabilities, consider the optional Compliant Contour 3D Printing Nozzle for smoother finishes and intricate designs. At LUYTEN® we prioritize Technology Readiness Level (TRL), achieving a TRL 9, a testament to our commitment to delivering proven and reliable technology. This focus on quality and safety has earned us global recognition and rapid sales growth. We've learned from industry experiences, prioritizing responsible development over rushing projects that could compromise structural integrity and put people at risk. We understand that successful 3D printing projects require both cutting-edge machinery and expert knowledge. That's why we provide comprehensive training, ensuring our customers understand critical aspects like expansion joint placement to prevent cracks and structural issues. With LUYTEN, you're not just investing in a printer; you're gaining the expertise and support to build confidently and efficiently. #luyten #3DPrinting #ParametricDesign #CustomFurniture #InnovationInAction #AdaptiveDesign #3DPrintedBench #TechnologyAndArt #architecture #architecturaldesign #technology #research #engineering #building #roboticfabrication #3dconcreteprinting #3dcp #sand #parametricarchitecture #computationaldesign #geometry #circularconstruction #3dcp #RoboticBuilding #ProgrammableMaterials #AdvancedDesign #Architecture #Engineering #3dprinting #3dconstructionprinting #3dconcreteprinting #futureofconstruction #wearethefuture #cleanlines #thepowerofinnovation #thefutureofcontruction #futurebuilding #manufacturing #ausmanufacturing #australianmade

All the New Professional 3D Printers Launched in 2024 Meltio's New M600 Laser Wire DED Meltio , which makes a host of wire-laser metal deposition systems, aims to make the technology less intimidating and more accessible for machine shops and small to mid-size manufacturers. The new #MeltioM600 wire-laser metal 3D printing system offers a range of automatic features that Meltio hopes will ease the introduction of the technology into more places, outside of its current niche areas, where it can offer increased metal part #production speed with less waste. Designed to perform 24/7 with minimal operator interaction, the M600 is a 3-axis 3D printer that uses common welding wire as its feedstock, which is much cheaper than metal powder and safer to handle. Meltio says the material properties of parts from the Meltio M600 are comparable to conventionally manufactured parts. Many thanks to Carolyn Schwaar for sharing our new innovation for industries and for publishing at All3DP #DED #metal3dprinting #additivemanufacturing #3dprinter #metal3dprinter #automation #reliability #production #supplychain #industry #factory #Meltio #laser #wire #manufacturing #welding #cladding #3dp #3dprinting https://lnkd.in/dKNGTnZN

🖨️ In today’s video, I’m at one of our large 3D printers at A-SAFE GROUP. This machine helps us prototype parts to enhance our designs and test out new materials. 👀 Have a look at this coupling that’s just been printed, designed to improve energy absorption in our safety barriers. Continual improvement is vital, from the prototype to the finished product. 👉Rigorously tested. Independently certified. Unbeatable return on investment. #ukmanufacturing #designtesting #3Dprinting

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝟯𝗗 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗫! 🔥 In 2017, we did some tests with PLA 3D printed models. This was a success for our production process. Explains one of our engineers Jelle Bok. “Since then, we can't imagine CIREX without the FDM 3D-printers. We have a nice collection these days. In Almelo, we have no fewer than 10 FDM 3D-printers. At our location in Soest, Germany, we also have a couple of 3D printers. We're very proud to have them!” We initially purchased the printers to produce prototype castings easily and relatively cheaply. Soon the 3D printers were used for all kinds of applications. Such as tools for manufacturing and testing broad concepts for assembly, for example. With these prototypes, customers can test the castings functionality and its strength very well. Small developments in geometry can be implemented quickly. This allows CIREX to test the casting process product-specifically and thus fine tune it faster where necessary. The geometry, size and quantity of the final component are the three biggest factors that determine the most suitable prototyping process. The prototyping phase is also an excellent opportunity to test different material options for a part so that it can achieve better long-term results. #3Dprinting #investmentcasting #lostwaxcasting #precisioncasting #PLAprinting #FDMprinters
