My name is Piloto Toupee Solomon Tanoai. I'm the chief philanthropic officer of the Michael and Susan Barren Foundation. I would like to inspire people to give back because giving is contagious. So we were established by our late founder, Judge Ian Bohen. He was a lawyer and a judge who loved the law and our vision is for an altered or New Zealand where everyone knows and understands the law and everyone enjoys the opportunity and protection that it provides. So we support legal research, legal education and legal scholarship through effective philanthropy. So even though it's a legal foundation, it's actually about people. We're here to make a difference to the lives of New Zealanders through the law. There is a category of scholarship that we award the Borrowing Our Pilots Himara Matunga scholarship, which was set up to encourage more mildly into legal academia. We're doing this with the intention of having an impact over the long term, but it's really rewarding when we start seeing the seeds that we've planted starting to flourish. And just. Get amongst it, get involved. We all have our own gifts and talents. We all have something to offer. Some of us have money, some of us have time, some of us have ideas, but we all have something to contribute. You know, if you come from a place of generosity, we can all help bring about positive change.
