Here is your yearly reminder to support some of our amazing fundraising colleagues across the sector. Today is the last day of the Big Give #ChristmasChallenge. For 7 days, charities and their fundraisers have worked incredibly hard to raise funds for their causes. Each year, as the campaign draws to a close, my favourite thing to do is to go to the Big Give website, filter the charities by 'match funds remaining' and scroll right to the bottom of the page. Here is where you will find charities who are SO CLOSE to their fundraising goal - they might just need £5 or £10 to hit that target. And so I choose a few and donate. Yes this is great for the charity, but I mainly do it for the fundraisers. I know that behind each target achieved, is a fundraiser who will be ecstatic that they made it in the final hours. They will be overjoyed, relief will flood their system and they will grin like a Cheshire cat. Some may even do a dance around their office/living room. Fundraisers have one of the toughest jobs out there, so it would be great if we could all make as many fundraisers smile as possible - this morning click the link in the comments, find those charities that are so close to hitting their target and press that donate button. #fundraising #BigGive #fundraisers

New Sendoso product update alert! A question I've answered hundreds of times while talking about building out Sendoso campaigns is "can I give my recipient the option to donate to a charity?" The answer has been yes - but it's been a somewhat difficult experience for recipients where they have to click through multiple websites to find the charity of their choice and we've just simplified that for everybody. Plus, we've made it an option for any campaign type for the marketers executing. Being able to support a charity with your business is a big milestone 🥳! Choosing which charity to support can feel overwhelming, with no clear direction to start. Here are 4 things to research before ultimately deciding on one: 1. Your business values help to give your brand its identity. Take whatever your brand is passionate about and find a charity that aligns with it. If you're a restaurant, maybe you want to partner with a food bank. Use your expertise and keep your mission in mind. 2. Some charities are more impactful than others, just from the way they're ran. You can do a quick search to confirm the charity you're eyeing doesn't have any scandals from within. 3. For tax purposes, it's a good idea to choose a 501(c)(3) organization. This makes it deductible, which can help offset some expenses. 4. Remember that cash isn't the only donation method. You can volunteer time, donate goods from your business, or do a sponsorship.

This is it. Today I’m publicly challenging any eCom/DTC brand that I can revamp and beat their cart abandonment email flow. If I can’t? I’ll donate $1000 to the charity of their choice. If I win? They’ll donate $1000 to the charity of my choice. Rules: - We can't use a bigger discount than what they already have in place. - Winner will be decided by revenue per person entering the email flow.
