Sivarajah Ramanathan, Mission Director and CEO, speaking at the 2nd edition of CII Thrive 2024 organized by CII Chennai Zone in Chennai, highlighted the significant growth of startups across the state. He noted that while startups were previously concentrated in Chennai, the support from StartupTN has facilitated their emergence in all districts. As a result, the number of startups has increased nearly fourfold since 2021. Additionally, he mentioned that the TANFUND portal, launched earlier this year, is aiding startups in connecting with investors to raise funds. Thiru.
