Businesses often prioritize customer acquisition due to its immediate impact on revenue and growth metrics. As a result, resources are heavily invested in marketing and sales efforts aimed at attracting new customers, while customer retention initiatives becomes a thoughtless barrage of messaging that renders customer disengagement. In many organizations, different departments handle various stages of the customer lifecycle independently, fueled by siloed data and communication practice. Marketing, sales, and customer service teams may not have a synchronized view of customer interactions, resulting in disjointed messaging and missed opportunities for personalization.
