With a total of $95 million raised to date, Pixxel is set to accelerate the launch of 18 commercial hyperspectral satellites and expand its AI-driven Earth Observation platform, Aurora, providing actionable insights to better understand our planet. This round, boosted by a strategic insurance payout, sets the stage for a groundbreaking leap in thermal imaging technology. YPOG advised existing investor 10x Founders on its investment in the €55 million Series A financing round of the Aachen-based start-up cylib. The round was led by World Fund, Europe's leading climate tech VC, and Porsche Ventures, the venture arm of sports car manufacturer Porsche AG. Other investors include Bosch Ventures, DTCF | DeepTech & Climate Fonds, NRW Ventures as well as existing investors Vsquared Ventures, Speedinvest, and well-known business angels. YPOG had already advised 10x Founders on cylib's previous financings.    The financing round is the first venture co-investment by industrial giants Porsche and Bosch in Germany. Ligence, a Lithuanian-founded medical technology start-up, has successfully raised €3 million in investment. The main investors include Simpact Ventures, a venture capital fund manager from Poland, Coinvest Capital, the European Innovation Council Fund, Lemonade Stand, an Estonian venture capital firm, the NGL business angel syndicate, and private investor Rita Sakus. Ligence is developing artificial intelligence-based software for more detailed analysis of echocardiogram data. This funding will support the advancement of diagnostic solutions for heart disease.
