Seems like I was just having a conversation on the subject of AI giving founders the ability to hit #unicorn status by employing #AI. If that is possible, think of the implications for #economicdevelopment ... not just in the recruitment of such companies to communities but in how economic developers and municipalities wield these tools to be #nextlevel efficient. After nearly one year in the Bay Area, I am coming to the conclusion that we are very close to a fully automated AI Business Unicorn. Everyone is talking about a three person unicorn, then a one person unicorn like Sam Altman here https://lnkd.in/dsaAn6K5. But I am going one step further with SquaredAutomation and creating a fully AI automated unicorn in which everything is an AI from a CEO to the simplest dev. Here my article in medium : Title: The AI Revolution: Ushering in the Era of the Fully Automated Unicorn https://lnkd.in/eR-sNBQv
Could AI create a one-person unicorn? Sam Altman thinks so—and Silicon Valley sees the technology 'waiting for us'

I hadn’t quite realized how much has been poured in AI, VC’s new favorite sector. Some call it a bubble, some call it a revolution - and some call it both at the same time. Here's a little question to grasp how much AI drags money : how much do you think was invested in AI in 2023? Answer is pretty simple : 1$ out of $3 financed an AI deal To put it another way, it’s 56B$ invested. That's more than all European funding in all sectors for 2023. US never cease to amaze me when it comes to the dynamism of it’s ecosystem. Full source: https://lnkd.in/eRs-BaPx

An interesting article to ground your view on the current AI train, and a cautious note to everyone, not to be so caught up with the AI wave, that you forget that there are other growing technologies out there too. The "flavour of the moment" may distract companies from other areas, which may benefit them better. What are your thoughts? #pmandre #ai #venturecapital #growingtech

Great article. For me it is a been there seen that moment, from both sides of the spectrum. One challenge plaguing enterprise adoption of startup software is the quagmire called “legal compliance”especially around data whether used in the model or otherwise. Although startups can integrate easily with data sources and build innovative solutions, when it comes to adoption, a larger company that can buy the startup product and shell out the dollars finds itself in a compliance trap. One of the parties especially the seller needs accept the legal penalties. Until there is true openness to data and the model, things will not move financially.
Large tech incumbents are aware just how important AI is, but contrary to what many think, that doesn't make them immune to disruption. Here's why: https://lnkd.in/dXFteski

Why are AI companies overvalued today? As Sumer Juneja of SoftBank Investment Advisers EMEA points out,its the lack of AI Talent. “When you find a few people who are real AI scientists, who really want to build true AI — that is a scarce resource,” he tells Sifted. I am not sure Board Directors understand this key risk ! You don’t have to be an AI company but every organisation is going to need AI skills and talent. And finding deep level of senior level expertise is even more challenging! #AI #Board #Nonexecutivedirectors #boardofdirectors
