Starting July 1, 2026, Maryland's Family and Medical Leave Insurance (FAMLI) program will provide up to 12 weeks of paid leave for significant life events, including: 👶 Birth of a Child 🏠 Adoption or Foster Care 🩺 Serious Health Conditions 🎖️ Military Family Leave 💞 Bonding with a New Child Who is Affected? This program applies to all employers in Maryland, regardless of size! If your employees have worked at least 680 hours in the past year, they are eligible for these benefits.
