As many of us prepare to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday with our families and friends I'm filled with gratitude. The challenges I face help me grow in grace and with mercy. The victories I celebrate are a reminder of the abundance of good in the world. Gratitude changes everything. I hope you are giving thanks for all of the opportunities you have received and for all of the opportunities forthcoming, whether they are opportunities for growth or opportunities to celebrate victory. I am wishing you a very happy Thanksgiving and may both your heart and your plate be abundantly filled!

Gratitude isn’t just a feeling—it’s a choice. Happy Thanksgiving to all our U.S. friends and beyond. Thanksgiving is more than turkey and traditions. It’s a reminder of the power of reflection. A chance to pause in a world that rarely slows down. It shifts our focus from what’s missing to what we already have. The people in our lives. The lessons we’ve learned. The small wins that carry us forward. Gratitude isn’t passive—it’s transformative. It re-centers us, helping us lead and live with purpose. So today, whether you’re celebrating with family or reflecting quietly, take a moment. Choose gratitude. What are you most grateful for this year?

As we’re nearing the end of the year, are you taking the time to reflect on what you’ve done and what you want to do? I love using A Christmas Carol as a structure for my end of year retros! If you want to use the format: 💡The Ghost of Christmas Past: Reflect on your past year. What are the things you want to celebrate? What would you do differently? 🎁The Ghost of Christmas Present: Consider the present. What are you grateful for? What makes you happy? 🎉The Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come: Think ahead: what would the perfect year look like for you? What do you want to be celebrating next year? Reflecting on all of these things means that you can go into the new year focused on the things that really matter to you. So, if you use this format? What are your Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come? Bonus points if you immediately watch The Muppet Christmas Carol* after this! * The best Christmas movie ever** ** I once got a pub quiz answer wrong for insisting Scrooge was visited by 5 spirits since I didn’t realise having two Marleys is only part of the Muppet version.

Celebrating my 35th birthday today! Here’s to another year filled with lessons, smiles, and so much more. Cheers! 🥂 6/6/89 Reflecting on some key lessons I’ve learned over the years: 1. Compound Growth: Life is a marathon, not a sprint. Small, consistent efforts lead to significant improvements over time. 2. Relationships: True connections are built on how we show up for each other. It’s the quality of our presence that matters most. 3. Embracing Discomfort: Growth often happens outside our comfort zones. It’s okay not to have all the answers. 4. Faith: Trust that there’s a greater plan at work. God didn’t bring us this far just to leave us here. 5. Gratitude: Be thankful for the past, but even more grateful for the present moment.
