It was a great opportunity to discuss with the panel at #RWM2024 on 'Can Chemical Recycling Deliver a Circular Future?' alongside industry representatives Simone Aplin, Mark Sommerfeld, and Jamie Warmington. We explored how chemical recycling can help build a circular plastic economy, addressing key challenges such as energy consumption, emissions, and the need for supportive policy frameworks. PPCP scrap, or plastic scrap, is important for the circular economy. By recycling it, we reduce waste, save energy, and help create a sustainable future. The new Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) rules make it easier for everyone to join in.
