We do virtual events differently! The way in which we approach virtual wine tastings has shifted dramatically in the past two years. Our model has shifted from one of a social nature to one that helps our clients connect deeper, making lifelong customers and turning event budgets into valuable revenue. In this short clip, I discuss how we approach Virtual Events at Acquire and how this distinction makes dramatic shifts in our clients’ bottom lines. #corporateevents #virtualevents #clientretention #clientrelationships #prospecting

The key to building strong business relationships is follow-up. After attending a trade show, following up with the contacts you made is crucial to maintain those new connections. Today, I'm taking the time to go through the trade show directory to ensure I haven't missed anyone I spoke with. Remember, the real work begins after the event is over. #TradeShows #Marketing #Sales #SalesNav

H2H stands for Human-to-Human. It's a term used to describe events or interactions where there is a direct, personal connection between individuals. In the context of tradeshows, H2H emphasises the importance of face-to-face interactions and networking opportunities. It suggests a more personalised and authentic experience compared to B2B (Business-to-Business) tradeshows, which can sometimes feel more transactional or impersonal.

I've been to 100+ trade shows. When I first started in sales I didn't know how to cold call, write cold emails or use LinkedIn. I had one skill, and it was my ability to start conversations. So I would spend a large portion of my year prospecting trade shows. They were a lot of work, long hours and many nights away from home. Why? Trade shows were where my ICP was. They always put me within striking distance of people I wanted to meet. My best deals came from people I met at trade shows. Figure out where your ICP is and meet there. That's where the magic happens. p.s. curious what you'd add here. #sales #b2bsales #linkedin

If you know where your ICP hangs around actively, you only gotta acquire a skill to ‘crack the conversation’ This could be over phone or email or LinkedIn or events any channel where conversations are possible. It is not that channels do not work. It is about making them work. #Sales

Struggling to generate leads in the traditional way. Here's a few ideas from our box of tricks 👻 Event - host with an industry leader as a speaker. Webinar - wider reach, more chance of drop outs. Exhibitions - where your target audience either exhibits OR attends Videos - really want to land that one prospect. Personalise and GO! LinkedIn voice notes - when was the last time you received one of these? Stand out from the crowd. Triggers - what trigger interests you? New in role, funding achieved etc. Find a source which gives you the details Timing of emails - try unconventional times. If it works it works! Friday afternoon is a good one. Any other ideas out there? 💡 #prospecting #newbusiness #salesboutique
