Make sure your celebrations extend beyond your own company. If a former or current client invites us to join them for a moment of celebration, we do our best to attend. It’s probably because we aren't in the business of forgetting about people when there isn't a sale on the line. We believe in relationships, in people, and in sticking around for the long term. Especially if it means we get an excuse to keep hanging out with you. #ClientAppreciation #BusinessRelationships #CelebratingTogether #ClientPartnerships #RelationshipBuilding

As we wrap up another year of LinkedIn buzzwords, corporate jargon, and "I'm humbled to announce..." posts, I've had a realization: Success isn't about grinding or having a perfectly curated personal brand. Sometimes it's about eating that marshmallow that fell on the floor during your kid's Winter Sing-a-Long without guilt, wearing mismatched festive socks, or finding joy in your mom asking you what RCS means in her text messages because "you work in tech." The greatest leadership lesson of 2024? Learning to laugh at yourself. While everyone else is posting their "Top 10 Entrepreneurial Insights from Building a 7-Figure Dog Walking Empire," you're out here being authentically you - cracking a Gen X joke your Gen Z team doesn't laugh at and spilling coffee on your messaging document. So here's to celebrating both our wins AND our perfectly imperfect moments. May your holidays be filled with less "synergizing core competencies" and more genuine connections, laughs, and a touch of eggnog-induced wisdom (boozy recipe compliments of Martha Stewart, currently viral on TikTok). P.S. If you're reading this while working from home in your holiday pajama pants, I see you and I respect your work-life integration strategy.

The Magic of WayMaker: Client Appreciation As I reflect on the incredible clients I have the privilege of working with through WayMaker, I'm filled with gratitude. It's in these moments that I know I am fulfilling my calling! There's nothing quite like witnessing the sense of relief when I introduce the services we offer at WayMaker, and a family exclaims, "That’s a thing?" and I share with a resounding "Yes, it is". Every time a family approaches us with a challenging downsizing, moving, or clearout scenario and I'm able to present them with a solution, the satisfaction of easing their burden is immeasurable. But it's not just about the services we provide — it's about the unique individuals I have the pleasure of working with. It’s about listening to their life stories and forging deep connections throughout their transition. Together, we navigate an emotional journey, sharing moments filled with tears, laughter, and everything in between. I love being of service to families during such a significant turning point in their lives — it's an honor. At WayMaker, we understand the emotional journey accompanying important transitions in life. Our mission is to guide the families we work with through these difficult times with empathy, kindness, and respect. Witnessing the transformation as our senior clients discover a simpler, more meaningful life on the other side of their move is nothing short of beautiful and rewarding. And, the joy that fills my heart when I have the opportunity to witness a senior client finding love again later in life and being a part of their new beginning! The connection doesn't end there. Our clients often stay in touch, sharing the new chapters of their lives with us. To all our incredible WayMaker clients, I want to express my gratitude. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your journey, and for entrusting us with your stories and dreams. It's a privilege to serve you! The Dangerous Grip of Envy A friend once shared a story that left a lasting impact on me. She had two colleagues, Rachel and Emily, who were equally talented and dedicated. However, Rachel couldn't shake off the feeling that Emily's successes diminished her own worth. She began to envy Emily's promotions, network, and recognition. Over time, Rachel's envy consumed her. She grew resentful, withdrawn, and started undermining Emily's efforts. Their once-healthy working relationship deteriorated. One day, Rachel realized that her envy had cost her a valuable friendship and damaged her professional reputation. The Consequences of Envy Envy can: 📍 Destroy relationships 📍 Cloud judgment 📍 Stifle growth 📍 Erode self-confidence 📍 Lead to poor decision-making Breaking Free from Envy 📍 Recognize and acknowledge your feelings 📍 Focus on your strengths and goals 📍 Practice gratitude and empathy 📍 Celebrate others' successes 📍 Seek support from mentors or peers Let's Cultivate a Culture of Support Where we: 📍 Encourage collaboration over competition 📍 Foster genuine relationships 📍 Emphasize growth over comparison 📍 Celebrate each other's wins 📍 Uplift and support one another Share Your Thoughts Have you experienced envy or witnessed its effects? How do you overcome it? - Share your own story or insights - Tag a colleague or friend who inspires you - Explore resources on overcoming envy #10daysbrandingchallenge #10101010 #day3 #Envy #PersonalGrowth #ProfessionalDevelopment #MentalHealth #RelationshipBuilding

1wFor me the joy always comes from working with great people above all - our team, suppliers, client partners - and then also having the chance to come up with fun creative ideas that can also make a real difference! You know I love a POP brainstorm 😆
