Today, aircraft manufacturers are dealing with operational challenges that threaten their ability to deliver to their market potential. ✈️   Companies that are facing ramp-up challenges often have several common weaknesses. These include inadequate production preparation throughout the year, a high level of “flow offenders”, such as missing parts and sequence disturbances, and an unclear path toward effective industrialization. Addressing these issues is crucial for improving performance and ensuring a foundation for sustained growth. At the same time, planning factories with an efficient, smart-factory-driven approach will lead to leaner and more sustainable production, unlocking additional hidden potential.
