Kick that can down the road: If you have a CRE loan maturing this year, and haven’t already contacted your lender, do so quickly as many of these loans are being extended until the interest rate environment stabilizes. Your lender with an extend-and-pretend mindset doesn’t really want to operate your commercial real estate.
