Plan your Vacation a year in advance One thing I observed after coming to UK is how passionate people are about going on holidays. Holiday leaves are planned to ever minute detail about when to go, where to go, whom to go with, flight and hotel bookings etc. Leaves are discussed and agreed well in advance with their managers and calenders are blocked. At the start of the year, we already know National holidays so plan your leaves and vacation around National holidays to take maximum advantage of your time off.
