Its been a long journey of hard work and preparation, but its finally launching! I am super thrilled to be directing the Founder Institute's famed Pre-seed 'core' accelerator program along with my fellow superstar team of local leaders Daphna Horowitz, Noah Pickholtz, Ruth Rubin and Tzakhi Freedman. The Israeli startup eco-system is impressivly strong and sets an example for other countries on a number of fronts not least our resilience and innovation. Even still, there is change-a-coming. More and more startups are looking to build in sectors further afield that the traditional kingpins of our eco-system; Cyber and Fintech (to name only a couple). There is also a growing understanding that the sources of investment in our ventures must diversify and adapt to the changing landscape of the Venture Capital sector. So how does an Israeli entrepreneur, in the very early stages of their startup journey, approach building impactful ventures for future generations using AI, E-Commerce, Robotics, or Medical, Bio & Climate Tech? And where do they find the capital? And then there is the dilemma of branding and national identity. The Founder Institute is throwing the full weight of their global platform of 200+ chapter cities in 100+ countries, 35,000 mentors & advisors and an est. portfolio value of $30BN, firmly behind Israel’s Startup eco-system and are doubling down on Israeli entrepreneurs.  It is a real honor to be directing the leadership team working hard to make Israel’s first chapter of the Founder Institute a resounding success.  Over the coming month, we will be introducing our mentors, an impressive group of 30+ exited founders and industry leaders. In last week's Chief panel discussion on innovation, our moderator Heidi K. Gardner discussed how innovation is not synonymous with creativity. For true innovation, you must both dream the big idea AND turn that idea into reality. At multiple startups, I've introduced the EOS Worldwide framework as a way to encourage innovation. EOS advocates for a dual-headed leadership structure of the dreamer (aka Visionary in EOS terms) and reality-maker (aka Integrator). True startup success requires a balance of big-idea-dreaming with get-stuff-done operations. How do you achieve this balance?
