What an inspiring day for Powered Orthotics! We had the pleasure last week of sitting down with Cem Özdemir to discuss the startup ecosystem over coffee and cake☕️. Powered Orthotics joined other startups from Mannheim and Heidelberg to discuss the future of #startups and #innovation in #BaWü with Cem. And of course, the day would not have been complete without a product demo 😎 The timing couldn't have been more exciting—just hours before our meeting, Özdemir announced his candidacy for #Ministerpräsident of #BadenWürttemberg for 2026. It’s refreshing and exciting to see leadership in Germany taking an active interest in promoting innovation and building the startup ecosystem. This kind of support is what drives progress and builds thriving communities. Attending the #REHACARE trade show was an eye-opener for our Powered Orthotics Team. It was a jam-packed day that was all about one thing -- the people.
