What an inspiring day for Powered Orthotics! We had the pleasure last week of sitting down with Cem Özdemir to discuss the startup ecosystem over coffee and cake☕️. Powered Orthotics joined other startups from Mannheim and Heidelberg to discuss the future of #startups and #innovation in #BaWü with Cem. And of course, the day would not have been complete without a product demo 😎 The timing couldn't have been more exciting—just hours before our meeting, Özdemir announced his candidacy for #Ministerpräsident of #BadenWürttemberg for 2026. It’s refreshing and exciting to see leadership in Germany taking an active interest in promoting innovation and building the startup ecosystem. This kind of support is what drives progress and builds thriving communities. We’re wishing Cem the best of luck with his candidacy and can’t wait to see what’s next! 🚀 #theLänd #StartupsDE #PoweredOrthotics #Heidelberg #GermanTech #Leadership #InnovationPolicy

#heidelberg #livinglab #wearabletechnologies #aftermovie

Meet Juules. 💎 In 2019, Juules was diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND). Since then, her life has completely changed— once-simple tasks like eating or walking are no longer possible, or very difficult, without assistance. But here’s what sets Juules apart: her unshakable positivity and infectious optimism. Despite the challenges, she continues to light up the room with her spirit. 🌞 At Powered Orthotics, we’re proud to play a part in making her daily life just a bit easier. With our soft robotic orthosis, Juules can regain some of the independence she once had, one small step at a time. This is why we do what we do—to help people like Juules reclaim moments of autonomy. Let’s change lives together. 🦾 #Innovation #handorthosis #FND #Accessibility
