Right now, 7.8 million people are left waiting for NHS treatments. But we can reduce backlogs and improve lives by investing in long-term preventative measures. CIPFA is inviting local authorities to join our project with The Health Foundation to explore how much local authorities spend on preventative activity. Local government participation will lay the groundwork for a more resilient and equitable society – one that safeguards our building blocks of health. To learn more and get involved, message Zachary Scott (Policy Researcher on Prevention, CIPFA) or email zachary.scott@cipfa.org. This friday, We are still on #MentalHealthAwareness campaign with the support of West African Institute of Public Health / The Academy of Public Health (The APH) ⚕️ While pushing for better legislative efforts and policies that address #MentalHealthMatters , we believe there are benefits in involving FAMILY and CARE GIVERS in every #MentalHealth recovery process and these benefits include: 🔑 Emotional Support: Boosts patient morale. 🔑 Improved Communication: Clarifies patient needs with healthcare providers. 🔑 Monitoring: Helps track symptoms and treatment adherence. 🔑 Resource Provision: Assists with logistics like transportation and appointments. 🔑Holistic Approach: Ensures comprehensive care. 🔑Reduced Relapse Rates: Linked to better long-term outcomes. 🔑Advocacy: Similar to what we are doing at #YPPH24 #VIP24, Advocacy ensures patient receives proper care and resources. And finally, we call on the public to keep an eye on State-level reforms and Federal legislative acts on #MentalHealth.,
