Q&A Series: All About Trees - Answer Revealed! The answers are A & C! 👍 The tree coverage at the lawn's edge should be less than 30% for the best RTK signal. 📡 In scenarios A and C, the coverage exceeds this limit, which can affect the mowing efficiency. 🌳🌳🌳 Thanks for your responses and stay tuned for more Q&A's! #RoboUP #QandASeries

This is a shout out to the wonderful Edwina Dunn for reminding me how great it is to connect 'just because'. She reached out because she saw we have a shared interest in rewilding. On this online platform, where communications could remain digital-only and people may never fully connect, Edwina's strategy of inviting people to have a brief live online chat, with no ulterior motive, is refreshing and meaningful. And, I feel like the lucky one because I just got to connect with someone who is helping to create important change in laws to enable better outcomes for rewilding projects, especially involving large herbivores. This is such a pivotal part of the picture. Current laws are focused on zoos or farm animals only and are restrictive at best, if not outright invasive, when applied in rewilding projects - a completely different context with dramatically less human intervention, by design. (Description of photo below: A close-up of an Exmoor pony within the rewilded Knepp Castle Estate land in the south of England. The pony is all dark brown, looking to one side, with blurred out, scrub greenery in the background. Photo is by Lee Crowley, @leelcrowley on Flickr.) #Rewilding #NatureRestoration

In this video, I explain the importance of hiring a professional arborist instead of just your landscape guy for proper tree care. We look at a 150-200-year-old Live Oak that suffered because of improperly installed cables. These cables, bought from a local hardware store, failed and caused significant damage to the tree, posing a risk to surrounding property. Don’t let your trees become a hazard. Learn from this example and ensure your trees are maintained correctly by professionals. Spooky, scarey skeletons 🦴 But a real warning when you inherit land and the title officially changes names… The wolves come out of the woodwork. Perhaps its just a coincidence, but its always worth putting your guard up in these scenarios. Because many times they are looking for a deal to flip the land. It should be noted, Im referring to those offering a “fair cash value”, not those simply marketing land selling services. And so it is of the utmost importance you can confidently stand for your land, to manage and maintain your land… Otherwise their scare tactics and promises can seem very appealing and lead you to make a decision in haste. And for 40 days im offering FREE services and insight to all my trainings and experience to help prepare you to confidently stand your ground and make the RIGHT decisions for you, your land, and your family. The Power of Partnerships in Planting Your Own Forest🌳🤝 I’ve been chatting with several people looking to plant a woodland.🌱 What did they all have in common? They were struggling to find land to buy for a variety of reasons. Which made me think back five years to when I started seriously considering planting a forest. The best decision I made at that time was partnering with Richard and Hester, who had the same vision for the forest they wanted to create. Does being in a partnership have challenges? For sure. But the upsides are massive. There’s no way I could have done that first project alone. Both in terms of affordability 💸 and in having partners who brought different skills 🛠️ to the team. Since that initial woodland project, I’ve worked with different partners: they provide the financial backing, and I contribute time, expertise and persistence in bringing our shared vision to life. My advice if you're considering teaming up: 1. Ensure your goals are aligned.🎯 2. Have written agreements - yes, even with family or close friends!✍️ Partnering can be the key to turning your dream forest into reality.🌟 #Forestry #WoodlandCreation #Partnerships #TreePlanting

Good day, and a happy easter holiday from all at PARKLIFE MONITORING. A good friend & client of ours sent me a text yesterday and asked if I was OK; a little perplexed I texted back and said fine... Why? She said, I normally look forward to your LinkedIn posts and there haven’t been any for a while….. she’s right, I can't deny it. Well here’s the rub….. we have been busy. When I say busy, I mean to say that with the end of several client’s financial years; we have been run ragged getting people/cycle and vehicle counters installed up and down the country, from the tip of Cornwall to the Isle of Arran. What does that mean, well it means we have had a first-quarter like no other; and I mean that in a good way. It also means that we have decided to say goodbye to the quaint ex-gentrified pig barn from whence we started, to new functionally larger premises on an industrial estate; “what can I say we need the space”. So, in a vain attempt to grab your attention; here below are a few pictures of some of our installs last month. If you want to know a little more or just to be kept updated on developments; send us a message. info@parklifemonitoring.com or call 01234 380 415 #DataFusion #BigData #CountData #CountingPeople #CountingCycles #CountingOutside Forestry England Forestry Commission National Trust #countingpeople #

As we approach the holiday season, we thought it would be fun to talk about children's books featuring trees. Therefore, we would like to present, "The 12 Tree Books of Giving Tuesday." We'll mention one book during the next twelve days. What is your favorite? I Can Name 50 Trees by Dr. Seuss Learning about different types of trees is fun with I Can Name 50 Trees! Encourage kids to recognize and name the trees around them, fostering appreciation and awareness for urban forestry. #TreeKnowledge #FunLearning

" Today is #GivingTuesday, the world's largest generosity movement, and I'm participating by championing an organization I care deeply about, @ProjectForestCA. I had the opportunity to plant some trees as part of one of their rewilding projects this summer, and would love for you to have a similar experience. Share this post with your network, and help me spread the word about this impactful organization! #TreeUNselfie #ProjectForest #Rewilding "
