"Knowledge is of no value unless you put it into practice." 👉Among the resources available, it's critical to develop an understanding of how to use them properly. ➡️The role of parents lies in cultivating this awareness, but it's challenging because many parents themselves are still figuring out how to adapt to new technology and make the most of it for both themselves and their children. ✅I had the opportunity to discuss this topic with parents, 👉I highlighted the importance of collaborative learning with children, emphasizing how parents and children can explore technology together. 👉I also stressed the need for regular communication, ensuring that parents stay connected with their children's experiences in the digital world. 👉Additionally, I focused on the importance of using language that children can easily understand, helping them grasp complex ideas in simpler terms. ✅These strategies, along with others, are essential for guiding children in the effective use of technology and resources. 🙏I am deeply grateful for this Opportunity. 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 This Mother's Day, we pause to celebrate the very heart of educational advocacy and inspiration—mothers. Mothers not only ignite the first spark of curiosity in their children but also tirelessly fuel this flame, guiding their lifelong educational journeys. Their instinctive decisions in the early stages set the trajectory for learning that goes beyond academics, shaping character and future success. Mothers have an unparalleled ability to discern and foster environments that are conducive to growth. They champion adaptive learning long before formal education begins, intuitively weaving learning into daily interactions. Their advocacy for quality, accessible education propels us at OneLern to innovate, ensuring our tools resonate with the values instilled at home. Today, we celebrate the mothers who are the unsung heroes of education. Your vision shapes the leaders, thinkers, and doers of tomorrow. Thank you for your trust and for allowing us to be part of your remarkable journey. #MothersDay #LifelongLearning #EducationalAdvocacy #DigitalEducation #OneLern #WomenInEducation #ParentingInEducation #EmpoweringMothers #EducationReform #FutureOfLearning

Delighted to share our latest publication about co-designing with children, families, and educators for understanding children's digital life worlds for play and learning! In today's digitally networked world, children are seamlessly integrating technology into their play, learning, and development. This presents a unique challenge for caregivers and educators who must adapt to these digital experiences to better support children's development needs. Our latest paper dives into three fascinating co-design research studies with children, families, and educators, uncovering the digital life-worlds of young learners. By exploring these studies, we identified key elements of co-design that address adult hesitancy towards technology in children's play and learning. Our findings highlight five crucial aspects: Mode of action, Collaboration, Creativity, Agency, and Data. These insights emphasise the cultural significance of research with children, shaping practices that go beyond mere technical solutions. Let's embrace the digital age and foster environments where technology enhances, rather than hinders, children's development! 🚀 Find our article here https://lnkd.in/gYaGcsgR Australian Catholic University, Emelie Stavholm, Jane Caughey, Susan Edwards, Alex Heard, Brisbane Catholic Education #youngchildrenindigitalsociety #DigitalLearning #ChildDevelopment #EdTech #CoDesign #InnovationInEducation #FutureOfLearning #TechInEducation #PlayAndLearn #ResearchImpact #DigitalAge

Parents and guardians play an essential role in fostering media literacy at home, guiding children through an increasingly digital world. By discussing media content openly and encouraging questions, adults help young minds develop the ability to think critically, evaluate sources, and recognize biases. To support these discussions, parents can introduce resources like fact-checking websites or age-appropriate educational videos that make learning about media fun and engaging. At The Ultimate Drive Global Network, we believe that road safety and responsible media consumption are everyone's responsibility—let's start with empowered, aware young minds, ready to navigate both digital and physical worlds safely. #MediaLiteracy, #EmpoweredYouth, #DigitalParenting, #CriticalThinking, #GuidingYoungMinds, #OnlineSafety, #ResponsibleMedia, #ParentingTips, #FactChecking, #DigitalAwareness, #YouthEmpowerment, #MediaEducation, #SafeNavigation, #ParentalGuidance, #UltimateDrive

Let's have a heart-to-heart about something that really matters: educational equity for underserved communities. It's not just a topic; it's a call to action that can change lives. Did you know that millions of kids worldwide are missing out on school? It's a shocking reality, and most of these kids come from backgrounds that already stack the odds against them. Poverty, discrimination, lack of resources—it's a tough hand to play. But here's the thing: education shouldn't be a privilege. It's a right, plain and simple. Every child, no matter where they're from, deserves a fair shot at quality education. It's not just about fairness; it's about tapping into the potential of our future leaders, innovators, and dreamers. So, what can we do? Well, awareness is step one. We need to shine a light on these issues, share stories, and make some noise. Let's talk about real solutions, not just lip service. Technology and innovation can be game-changers here. We've got tools at our disposal that can reach kids in remote areas, provide personalized learning, and make education more accessible than ever. But it's not all about tech. We need boots on the ground, too. Let's rally communities, support teachers, and build bridges where there are barriers. I want to hear from you. What ideas do you have? How can we make a difference, together? Drop your thoughts in the comments, and let's start a conversation that leads to action.
