Here's Shuangliang’s 5 routines for the #DFM： 1 Material Selection Optimization We carefully choose materials at the beginning of the design process to ensure that they not only meet the product's performance requirements, but are also easy to work with and cost-effective. This significantly reduces material wastage and improves our productivity. 2 Simplified Part Design We have reduced the number of manufacturing steps and complexity by simplifying the shape and structure of our parts. This will greatly improve part quality and consistency. 3 Optimized Assembly Design During the product design phase, we simulate and optimize the assembly process to ensure a clean and efficient assembly. By reducing assembly time and steps, we increase productivity. 4 Tolerance Setting We set reasonable tolerances in our designs to ensure that parts are interchangeable during manufacturing and assembly without increasing manufacturing difficulties. This practice has been effective in reducing product rework and improving product quality. 5 Choose the Best Manufacturing Process We will choose the most suitable manufacturing process according to the features of the product and production requirements. Exciting Update! I’m super excited to share that I’ve recently relocated to Batu Kawan, Penang, as the new Area Manager for Asahi Diamond! This move allows me to support our amazing customers in Penang and Kulim even better. It’s been an incredible journey working with such fantastic companies, and I can’t wait to dive in and tackle new challenges together! I’ve had the privilege of getting hands-on experience with back grinding, dicing, and polishing processes alongside some truly brilliant engineers. We’ve celebrated some great successes in Malaysia recently, including projects like BG wheels, CMP conditioner solutions, precut processes, wafer dicing, wire saws, and package singulation. It’s all about helping our customers achieve real results, whether it’s cutting costs, extending tool life, or enhancing performance. As an engineer, I thrive on tackling technical challenges, and I love working with unique and advanced facilities.
