Did you know? 🌊🌿 Integrated Multi-Trophic Aquaculture (IMTA) is transforming fish farming by combining multiple species—like fish, shellfish, and seaweed—in one system. This method mimics natural ecosystems where different species benefit from each other, making it more sustainable by reducing waste and improving water quality. It's a win-win for both farmers and the environment! Let’s embrace innovative solutions to feed the world sustainably. 💧🐟🌍 #Aquaculture #IMTA #SustainableFarming #MarineEcosystems #FishFarming #BlueEconomy #InnovativeFarming #SeafoodSustainability

One of the biggest challenges in aquaculture is the management of sea lice, a parasite that negatively affects fish health and significantly reduces productivity. The best way for farms to reduce reliance on chemical interventions, contribute to healthier fish populations and adopt more sustainable farming practices is to place fish cages deeper in the water where sea lice populations are lower. The harsh conditions of deep water environments - strong currents, exposure to salt water and extreme weather fluctuations - require equipment that can withstand these stresses without compromising performance. Our Marine Zippers are designed for these conditions. 🔗 To learn more about how our Marine Zippers are helping to revolutionise sea lice management and drive global aquaculture innovation, visit 🔽 https://lnkd.in/dv2nCjNm . #Aquaculture #MarineZippers #SustainableAquaculture #InnovationinAquaculture #SeaLiceManagement #BuraschiItalia
