When working with clients, there needs to be an understanding that both sides are engaged in finding content that could generate media exposure vs the client waiting for a PR consultant to always bring opportunities to the table. I always know a PR project/campaign is ending earlier than expected when I am the only one proactively finding ways/opps to get a client in front of the media. Clients must be willing to meet their PR consultants halfway by providing content that can be pitched to the media. #Mediacoverage #mediarelations #PRtips

It's hilarious how things flow in PR. The client pushes the PR agency for media coverage... The agency pushes the media for coverage... The media looks the other way... At the end of the month, the agency pushes the client for payment... The client looks the other way... Can this change? Of course, it can. But for the change to happen, the agency will have to change its approach. - It has to educate the client about PR. - It has to make realistic promises. - It has to offer value to journalists. - It has to ask the client to meet their end of the bargain. - It has to be assertive about timely payments. The truth is nobody is coming to rescue the agency. #PublicRelations #StrategyVerse #Marketing
