Pleased to share my #RSCPoster2024. In this work, we explore both the Visible and NIR luminescence of samarium complexes. Further, the temperature-dependent photoluminescence of the complex was explored for temperature sensing application at cryogenic temp. It’s important to establish that any instance of neutrinoless double-beta decay really reflects the property of the neutrino. Wonderful time at the 22nd International Symposium on Geo-disaster Reduction (#ISGdR) in #Salerno, Italy to present my study on 'Multiscale simulation of progressive #landslides by the adaptive RDFA method' last week. RDFA allows for adaptive node adjustments at crack tips while satisfying strength criteria, effectively capturing the initiation and propagation of zero-thickness cracks. Meanwhile, the global equilibrium equation has been deduced, enabling the simultaneous solution of continuous and discontinuous problems using a unified mathematical model. Additionally, it facilitates the automatic transformation of rock from continuum to discontinuum.

What is the magnetic field of a bar magnet? In the 1820s Michael Faraday took a bar magnet, placed a piece of white paper over it, and scattered iron filings on the paper; the filings immediately aligned with one another in lines connecting the north and south pole of the magnet, creating an image of the unseen magnetic field of the bar magnet. The problem is iron filings themselves are little bar magnets, so look at the video, where we take a bar magnet, place it over the phosphor coated screen of a cathode ray tube TV, and see the magnetic field actually starts at the north pole, goes to the middle of the bar magnet, comes out of the middle of the bar magnet and goes to the south pole!
