In the latest of the Dahdaleh Institute Seminar Series, Ross Upshur will discuss the evolution of clinical public health as a concept and outline promising applications for health systems locally and globally. Join us on Wednesday, November 13, at 1:00 p.m. for Clinical Public Health: Local and Global Applications, with Ross Upshur. https://buff.ly/48DDRQ6

BIG WIN for publicly available data in Kentucky! The Kentucky Department for Public Health recently released its Public Health Transformation dashboard, which auto-populates the most recent public health assessment and planning documents for every local health department or district in the Commonwealth. This dashboard emerged from a research partnership Kathryn Boroughs and I established with the Commonwealth of Kentucky, as well as legislation passed in 2023. Equipped with current statewide data, researchers, local health leaders, and lawmakers can access information they need to build healthier futures in Kentucky.
