Last week Tanishta Rajesh, PhD student with us, attended the 6th Annual Academy of the International Max Planck Research School for Population, Health and Data Science (IMPRS-PHDS), hosted by the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research. She also had the opportunity to present her ongoing doctoral thesis project titled “Families in Flux: the interplay between parental conditions and out-of-home care placements of children in Sweden”.
Last week, I had the pleasure of attending the 6th Annual Academy of the International Max Planck Research School for Population, Health and Data Science (IMPRS-PHDS) as an affiliate student, hosted by the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research. The week kicked off with an engaging and interactive workshop on presentation skills led by Dr. Barbara Beege, followed by three days of inspiring scientific posters and presentations from colleagues across diverse fields. I also had the opportunity to present a snippet of my doctoral thesis project titled “Families in Flux: the interplay between parental conditions and out-of-home care placements of children in Sweden”. A huge thank you to the organizers and to the wonderful friends and connections made along the way. I’m looking forward to many more moments of learning, collaboration, and fun in the years to come!
