Inspite of having a Board Role & being the #OwnerFamily he still made sure that he spends min. Few hours every quarter to discuss on every minute details of #KOLs engagement, types of #media covered (that was the time when #DigitalMedia was not that prominent & you had to approach every single Print Media separately ) #regions #covered , the core team were themselves surprised of the #memory power (he would not forget a single point ever discussed— he would 70+ then itself) & his #indepth understanding of each activity discussed & executed , which made the #TherapyBuidling program executed by us the one much before time any #Indian #Pharma co. would invest in such programs, which later created a benchmarkfor Therapy/ Category Building. Mr Hameid’s example is not just about a #Leader’s #vision but also a Leader’s commitment to dwelve into minute details and see through the success of the program till it achieves its #GOALS. Since then as ViaMedia & now as HEAL Health & HealthPresso we have done hundreds such programs but the starting point for us & many of #Communications & #Pharma Industry professionals, Mr MK Hameid will always remain a #trailblazer ! The time flies by so fast, Digital Media & Digital Marketing #AI has taken over as new age tools, new age Management & quickfix styles have taken over! But the #traditional #honest & grounded working style of Leaders like Mr Hameid will aleays be remembered as the one which help trasform the Pharma Industry in India & now when we are on path to becoming the #PharmaCapital of the world, the credit does to such leaders & entrepreneurs! In his article in the Independence Day special edition of the India Today magazine, our Chairman Satish Reddy discusses the roadmap of the Indian pharma industry. For Indian pharma to grow from its approximately $50 billion worth today to around $130 billion by 2030, and perhaps $400 billion by 2047, the key would be R&D, innovation, sustainability, upskilling and reskilling. In short, its journey would have to move the needle from ‘Make in India’ (as a cost-based manufacturing powerhouse) to ‘Discover and Make in India for the World’ (becoming a value-based innovation powerhouse). Satish also describes innovation broadly – “Innovation is more a mindset; it can come in many forms, including innovation for better access, new categories, new ways of doing business, deploying artificial intelligence and other technologies as enablers, and more.
