As part of its ongoing efforts to foster hands-on learning and improve the quality of education, successfully conducted a teacher training program at the Government High School in Gobha, Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh. This initiative was made possible with the support of the National Payments Corporation Of India (NPCI), a leading player in India’s payments ecosystem, which has been committed to supporting CSR initiatives aimed at enhancing educational outcomes in rural and underserved regions.  . The training session was tailored specifically for the educators at Government High School Gobha, focusing on innovative STEM methodologies that incorporate practical learning techniques. By engaging teachers with dynamic, hands-on models, the program aimed to make abstract scientific concepts more accessible and relatable for students. The training also emphasized how teachers can effectively integrate these methods into their everyday classroom routines to spark curiosity and critical thinking among students.  . With only three teachers participating in the session, the training was intimate and allowed for personalized attention, ensuring that each educator left with a comprehensive understanding of how to implement STEM-based approaches in their teaching. The small group setting facilitated open discussions, idea-sharing, and a collaborative learning experience.  . This initiative is aligned with NPCI's commitment to supporting the development of education and skill-building programs, particularly in regions where such opportunities are limited. By equipping educators with modern teaching techniques, STEM Learning, and NPCI are contributing to a sustainable and impactful educational ecosystem that will benefit future generations.  . The privilege of conducting an enriching teacher training program at the Government Excellence Higher Secondary School in Chitrangi, Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh. This initiative, supported by the National Payments Corporation Of India (NPCI) through its CSR programs, aimed to enhance the teaching capabilities of local educators, ensuring that they are equipped with the latest tools and strategies in STEM education.  . The training program gathered a total of 6 dedicated teachers, who were provided with hands-on learning experiences and effective teaching techniques. The curriculum focused on practical, student-centered methods to engage young minds in the critical subjects of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. It is our firm belief that empowering educators is key to fostering a deeper understanding and love for STEM disciplines among students.  . Throughout the program, teachers were exposed to a variety of innovative teaching models, including the use of interactive models, visual aids, and simple science experiments that can be easily implemented in the classroom. This approach not only enhances students' learning experiences but also nurtures their curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.  . While NEP 2020 prioritises foundational literacy and numeracy, we must also foster critical thinking and diverse perspectives in primary education. I agree that a strong foundation is crucial, but I don’t think a one-size-fits-all approach is the right way to go about it. Let’s encourage dialogue on innovative teaching methods, integrating technology, and addressing educational socio-economic disparities. Let’s embrace diverse viewpoints on curriculum design, assessment methods, and teacher training. Our training focused on equipping teachers with practical, hands-on methodologies that can be directly applied in the classroom.
