The UVD unit simplifies the maintenance process and increases the reliability of the bushings. This is a great example of minimalist design while retaining all necessary functions. The unit consists of three components: a vacuum pump, an oil preparation block, and an oil filling block. With their help, degassing, storage, and oil refilling in high-voltage bushings are performed. Important features: the oil volume in the preparation block is 30 liters (8 gallons), and in the degassing block - 4 liters (1 gallon); compactness: length - 0.9 m (35 in), width - 0.78 m (31 in), height - 1.5 m (59 in); mounted on wheels, so it easily and quickly moves from one transformer to another. #transformer #electricalengineering #power #energy #electricity
