As a foreign language teacher, flexibility and adaptability are two of my core teaching skills. Sticking to one teaching style will not get you the desired result. "Different strokes for different folks": they say. Even if you're teaching the same set of students, you will have to embrace other methods at some points, depending on the topic and area of focus. It is also of paramount importance to consider the learning styles of hoir student(s).

🌍✨ Unlocking the Power of Language! ✨🌍 As an English teacher, I have the incredible privilege of guiding students through the rich tapestry of language and life. Every day in the classroom feels like stepping into a world of endless possibilities. From the moment a student hesitates, grappling with a new concept, to that exhilarating breakthrough when they articulate their thoughts with confidence—each step is a reminder of why I love what I do. I strive to cultivate a space where exploration and creativity flourish. We tackle everything from timeless themes to modern issues. One of the most rewarding aspects? Witnessing the transformation that occurs when students realize that language is not just a tool for communication, but a gateway to understanding the world around them. The connections they build—across cultures, ideas, and perspectives—are truly inspiring. What stories or experiences have shaped your journey in learning or teaching languages? #EnglishTeaching #LanguageLearning #Education #Literature #TeachingPassion #StudentGrowth

This is one of the many reasons why I am a strong believer in teaching using an integrated approach.

Our job as EDUCATORS is not limited to the teaching of a language. Our first duty is to place a tiny portion of influence on how they view the world as they develop their own personality. To become confident, to stand up for what they believe, to respond to bullies, to resist when others try to intimidate them, to broaden their horizons through books. To BE THERE for them. And guys, we just HAVE TO learn those participles, okay? #TeachersKnowHow #teachersofinstagram #EnglishClassesAreFun #englishteacher #Iamateacheryoucantfrightenme #teachingenglish #teaching #education

Over 30 years ago, I was transitioning from a primary school teacher to teaching Italian as a foreign language—a challenging shift that came with uncertainties. I’ve progressed to becoming an academic manager, after gaining experience as a teacher trainer for the University of Cambridge's CTIFL course. I'm now more confident and fulfilled in my career, so much so that I have my own company. Lessons learned along the way: 1. Strong subject knowledge is key. 2. Pedagogy enhances teaching. 3. Adapting methods improves outcomes. 4. Continuous learning is essential. 5. Mentorship fosters growth. 6. Patience breeds success. I recently shared more in this article: [The Importance of Subject Knowledge and Pedagogy in Language Teaching](https://lnkd.in/d5nfPpuX). #LanguageTeaching #TeacherTraining #Pedagogy #MentorshipMatters #ContinuousLearning
