Vietnam leads the world's fastest-recovering domestic aviation sector post-COVID19 and is the world's 5th fastest-growing aviation market, expected to reach 150 million air transport passengers by 2035, according to the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Yet current supply is insufficient to meet present and future demand, leading to market inefficiencies and higher ticket prices. In the article below released by RMIT University Vietnam my colleagues from EuroCham Tourism & Hospitality Sector Committee Wendy Vu, Martin Koerner, Lukasz Kozlowski, and I argue for the further liberalization of Vietnam's aviation industry to improve profitability, provide more flight options, and boost tourism growth. #Vietnam #tourism #travel #aviation #airline #transport #liberalization
