I've never been this thrilled about taps and toilets! Last Friday, the SOA Developments ladies and I headed to Dubai Design Week. While the designers dived into supplier chats and searched for the next “it” materials, I was snapping BTS content—and getting totally baffled by some of the latest in art and interiors. Picture this: baby pink taps and a futuristic, robotic toilet. I’m sold—once I’ve got a place of my own, I’ll be splurging, especially on that toilet. 👀 If you know me, you know I'm all about creating great content, but when it comes to my own home, it's a bit chaotic. With the talented SOA team giving me insights into what’s trending (and what’s timeless), I’m actually inspired to refresh my apartment with a bit more style. 🖌️ There’s something refreshing about stepping outside the office and surrounding yourself with other creatives—even from totally different industries. Looking outside your niche can spark the best ideas, and Dubai Design District did just that for me. Excited to make my home a bit less chaotic and a lot more creative! 'Change remains the sole constant in our world' —a paradoxical truth that resonates more deeply in these tumultuous times. In an era defined by disruption, embracing change isn't just advisable; it's essential for staying relevant and avoiding obsolescence. A revolution beckons, and this year—perhaps thanks to the lucky # 13 - it has ushered in transformative shifts. We kicked off this year by implementing necessary changes, addressing the intricacies in our processes and procedures while adhering to foundational principles. Additionally, we paved the path forward by honoring our employees, recognizing their contributions, and nurturing their growth. New departments and personnel have seamlessly integrated into our ranks. My mind is brimming with ideas, initiatives, strategies and processes - countless thoughts that would only exist in the realm of imagination were it not for our dedicated team. Personally, it's immensely gratifying to witness the flourishing of our organization and teams. I've had the privilege to learn and grow alongside my colleagues and feeling humbled by the opportunities to mentor them. I take great delight in seeing personal initiatives and aspirations come to fruition, buoyed by the faith shown in me by management and supported by my comrades and also for the acceptance of my contributions towards almost every aspect of the organization. Like any journey fraught with ups and downs, we can proudly reflect on how far we've come. The accolades and awards serve as testament to our progress and the fact that we are doing something right. This growth wouldn't have been possible without the dedication and contributions of our past and present colleagues, the relentless hard work of our site team, the unwavering commitment of our business partners and vendors, and, last but not least, the steadfast trust shown by both our longstanding and new clients.
