If you are involved in academic multinational trials in Europe as a sponsor, an investigational site, a CRO, a CTU, or involved in the development of national procedures/templates for harmonisation of CTA, we have developed this survey for you! Working within the ERA4Health Partnership, the ultimate goal is the development of a harmonised Clinical Trial Agreement (CTA) to facilitate the conduct of academic multinational clinical trials in Europe.   Your invaluable input will help us: • Collect information about the existing CTA templates/models across the EU • Get a broader understanding of the issues encountered by the academic sponsors of multinational clinical trials and other relevant actors when dealing and negotiating CTAs in the context of multinational clinical trials, • Identify the negotiable and non-negotiable national specificities (e.g. provisions mandatory by law) of CTAs • Find a shared understanding of how an EU CTA template should look like so that it can be used as a model in the context of academic multinational clinical trials   Interested in contributing to this work? 🔍 New insights from the ECRIN survey on the national registries for observational studies and sharing of individual participant data 📊 A survey across eight European countries belonging to the European Clinical Research Infrastructure Network (ECRIN), in which the SCTO was actively involved, was conducted to assess the status of national developments in registries for observational studies. Six countries have active national registries for observational studies. However, to bridge the gap, it is proposed to integrate these registries with ECRIN's Clinical Research Metadata Repository (crMDR). This integration would link primary registries, such as ICTRP, ClinicalTrials.gov, PubMed and IPD repositories, and promote comprehensive data sharing. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim highlighted Malaysia's success in generating over RM1.16 billion in gross national income from sponsored clinical research since 2012. He credited the success to the establishment of Clinical Research Malaysia (CRM) by the Health Ministry, which has been self-sufficient for six years and has positively impacted the country's clinical research landscape.
