We are thrilled to announce that we are building the GT Wings Airwing alongside our partner KS Composites. this is a UK-funded UK-based initiative that is set to transform the Carbon footprint in the maritime sector in the coming years. We have been heavily involved in the Design for Manufacturing, interpreting and influencing the final design and ensuring the design is optimised for manufacture. This programme will be multi-year and take the business into the marine sector following our successful entry last year into aerospace, automotive, Visuals and airports amongst others. ⚡️ Phase-Change Materials (PCM) for thermal management of the battery and the cabin of electric vehicle. 📍 This week, MoldTecs France had the pleasure to welcome the MCP+ consortium composed by ARIAMIS, AREELIS TECHNOLOGIES, Certes, ESTACA - Ecole Supérieure des Techniques Aéronautiques et de Construction Automobile and MoldTecs. The MCP+ program, winner of CORAM2021 and supported by the French government, is an innovative initiative aiming at developing thermal management system for electric vehicles. Using heat exchanger modules with phase-change materials, this program seeks to guarantee the same driving range for the HEV and BEV independently of the external temperature conditions. ✔️ During this day, we reviewed the promising testing results from our functional prototype, alongside the design and patent examination. We defined Phase 2 objectives, focusing on vehicle-level validation for both passenger cars and quadricycles (TRL7). 🚀 Let’s keep on going!
