Hey LinkedIn! I am proud to officially announce what I've been up to over the past 15 months. The News: I've founded and am now the CEO of RMA (Rebel Media Agency), a full service strategic marketing firm & consultancy for solopreneurs, startups, and B2B corporations who are without a CMO or full in-house marketing teams. I've dedicated the past 15 months to helping companies grow revenue through a marketing framework i've developed called B.A.C.A (Branding And Client Acquisition). RMA has been completely bootstrapped with a growing full time remote team of 12 members across 4 departments, based all around the world and with 2 interns now. Building this has been the most difficult thing I've ever done especially while navigating studying at Harvard University, but after 225 sales conversations and dozens of business contracts with businesses around the world, I'm really excited for what the future holds. A bit about my journey and how it led to the creation of RMA. Here's where the vision for Rebel Media Agency began: 5 years ago, I launched a Christian clothing brand that functioned as a non-profit to feed the homeless with every piece of clothing sold, called Righteous Rebels Clothing. I poured my heart and soul into it. But after dealing with marketing agencies that lacked communication and real results, I felt like my passion was slipping away. That experience lit a fire in me. I dove (and continue to dive) deep into learning everything I can about digital marketing, sales, and business growth—investing thousands of hours (and dollars) into perfecting my craft. Now, with RMA, I’m determined to do things differently to make sure no other business has to have, or continue having the same problems I encountered. I've built an agency that doesn’t just "do marketing"—we essentially become a strategic growth partner for B2B businesses. Functioning as the plug and play in house team that the everyday business owner could never have-democratizing access to an in house marketing team. We function by these core values: Constantly evolving Unreasonable hospitality Relentless communication Since launching, we’ve helped businesses across 10+ industries to achieve incredible results—whether it’s building a high converting website from the ground up with custom code, to high-quality leads with high intent using LinkedIn and email, or Social Media Advertising campaigns to attract new users, drive sales, and grow revenue. We've worked now with solopreneurs and collaborated with Inc 5000 companies and there's so much more to come as we expect our team to double in size and quintuple in client capacity over the next 12 months. Every so often we get a founder story on Founderoo that we didn't think we'd get. Here's the fascinating story of Anthony Pierri 🎸: Growing audiences has always been part of Anthony's DNA. At 11, he started a band with his brothers, selling out local venues by age 14. Years later, he'd become a pastor leading a congregation of 75+ volunteers. But after 11 years in ministry, Anthony needed a change. Despite years of promotions, an entry-level sales role at a software agency offered better pay than his pastor position. It was here he discovered his true calling - product marketing for tech startups. Working at the agency, Anthony and his cofounder Robert were tasked with creating a more scalable service. Their approach? Use LinkedIn to test what resonates with the market. The results were unexpected but clear: their content about product positioning and homepage messaging struck a chord. As their audience grew, inbound requests started flowing. Founders wanted help to implement the frameworks they were sharing. Their growth strategy was beautifully simple: ↳ Share detailed how-to content about their exact process ↳ Take strong, contrarian positions on industry practices ↳ Post consistently (3-4 times weekly) with real results ↳ Turn client work into content that attracts similar clients This created a powerful flywheel: ↳ 1. Convert followers into customers The numbers tell the story: ↳ 11M+ people reached yearly on LinkedIn ↳ 300+ venture-backed clients served ↳ 13-17 new clients monthly at $10K per project ↳ $1.3M in annual revenue The most interesting part? They give away their entire process for free. "Several companies won't work with us because we've told them exactly how to run our process," Anthony explains. "But there's also a very large group of founders who don't have the time to do it themselves." This radical transparency even led to an unexpected revenue stream - they packaged their LinkedIn content into a Notion database and sold it for $50, generating an extra $50K. The lesson? Building in public and giving away your expertise can help you win more business. Trust and proven results seem to trump secrecy. I write five-year strategic marketing plans all the time. And, then my own business, headquartered in Austin, TX 🤠 🎸 👢, five-year anniversary mark hit. I reflected on the past five years and thought about the next five. A few clear themes emerged. I wanted to share a few takeaways with LinkedIn #entrepreneurs interested in starting or growing their own businesses. 🔍🎯 1. Focus. Do not seek to be all things to everyone, or you will get lost in the “sea of sameness.” Also, ensure the market is ready for your offerings.                    I am a vCMO for a finite number of firms. There were several services that the market initially seemed poised to buy. Then, COVID-19 happened. Sometimes, timing…you know. My suggestion is to not give up on a strong idea, even if there is an initial, cool reception. Today, the market is reacting positively and buying those services. 🙏🏼 2.  Appreciate What is Already in Front of you. Some of the best advice I ever received was from a former colleague who described spending many years “chasing” validation professionally and personally. It reminded me that the most rewarding moments can be incremental – whether the collaboration on an extensive project with an amazing team, or when someone you trained no longer needs as much guidance or brings their own ideas to the discussion. It's why I started my own business, to help clients see the value inherent in their businesses – and to find where they can create more – ON A DAILY BASIS! 📊📈 3. Define + Measure. The given: make a five-year plan, set milestones, and measure frequently. Change is constant, and you will most certainly need to pivot. Any plan requires room for experimentation and new #data points that help inform our decisions.   🌍🤲 4. Make a Difference. Mentorship, sponsorship, and volunteerism. I spend time on children’s education and assisting with foster kids’ futures. This has led to not only personal satisfaction in giving back in the community, but my brand’s alignment with these issues and some valuable new contacts which have enhanced my network. 😬5. Own up to Your Mistakes. Friends, colleagues, and clients all understand that none of us ever “bat a thousand.” I work with many different, excellent vendors. I chose to work with someone new who turned out not to be a good fit. It was a tough experience, but I confronted it directly, learned a lot, and will never repeat the error. Just face your problems head on. Anything else just makes the situation worse. To everyone beginning their entrepreneurial journey – find a genuine circle of people who support you and your aspirations. 

“I can’t afford marketing right now” – A limiting belief that’s holding your business back If you’re a startup or D2C founder, you’ve probably said this once (or a hundred times): “We don’t have the budget for marketing right now.” 😬 I get it. Working with experts—even on a project basis—can free up your time and get better outcomes. 5. Inconsistent efforts yield inconsistent results - The “start-stop” approach—marketing only when you have the budget—leads to inconsistent branding and customer trust issues. Building a consistent presence, even with a modest budget, is much more effective than a random burst of activity. Marketing doesn’t have to break the bank, but ignoring it can hold you back. Somewhere over the past couple of years, I made a big transition. I went from a high-paced, successful career as a business owner to being more family-focused—while (almost unintentionally) growing entirely new businesses. I shifted from real estate to marketing, and before I even realized it, my focus had fully shifted. While I stayed licensed in real estate, it wasn’t where my energy or passion was going anymore. Instead, I found myself helping others grow their businesses through social media by showcasing how I was doing it all over again. It was an unexpected journey—this path found me. It all started with real estate but grew into something completely different. Fondy Famous has become a true passion of mine. I absolutely love the impact it’s having, but I’ll admit, it wasn’t instantly embraced. I made a big splash with something new, and there was hesitation from some to support it. That was tough. I’m driven, motivated, and used to a sales background where “no” is just part of the process. But I wasn’t prepared for how much negativity this venture would face early on. Still, I kept going, and I’m so glad I did. Over time, there’s been a big shift, and we’ve had some incredible breakthroughs. Social media is making a huge impact on local businesses, and I’ve been thrilled to see more and more of them jump in, posting consistently and collaborating with each other. I love seeing these old-school business tactics like partnerships and giveaways being adapted to today’s platforms in creative, modern ways. In the last 15 months, I ghostwrote 173 LinkedIn posts for some of the most ambitious B2B founders worldwide – but I have ONE huge regret: I neglected my own personal brand! Today, that changes. Kevin's YouTube videos built trust with prospects before they hopped on the phone. Other coaches had 0 social presence, making sales cycles long & deals hard to close. I wanted to help other founders take advantage of Kevin's social system, which was why I dived into the personal branding space 2 years ago. Today, my agency Clvir turns B2B IT leaders into go-to industry experts whose voices drive tangible business outcomes. I love helping passionate people use their voice to make an impact & grow their business. But - as much as I advocate for building a founder brand - I've neglected my own!
