Redpath turns 62! From humble beginnings to the global organization it is today, Redpath was founded sixty-two years ago, by the 26-year old Canadian mining engineer, Jim Redpath. Initially the business was run from the basement of Jim Redpath’s apartment. It was during those early years that Jim Redpath formulated the company’s Philosophy and Guidelines for Success. These founding principles derived from his belief that the focus of every employee must be on doing a good job for the client. Over six decades later and now with 10,000 employees, these principles are still present on every Redpath work site and in every corporate communication. All projects are viewed through the lens of how a decision or action will align with these corporate values. 4moCongratulations Redpath Australia North Bay, a small town of ~ 50,000 people in Northern Ontario has spawned and hosted a couple of global leaders with Redpath and Longyear. Both had very similar values centred on fairness, community, accountability, treating their employees with respect and challenging them to be the best they could be.
