We used Hireguide the other day to make a hiring decision. Now - those who know me know I’m a pretty big personality. When I want someone - I’m the loudest hiring manager in the room! I’m talking about all the reasons I need this person. I’m using large hand gestures. I’m really giving it my all to convince the panel we should hire this person! But - since Hireguide is designed to help make better hiring decisions- we used the decide portal and found the discrepancies in our candidate interview feedback. Now- all of a sudden my *ahem* magnetic sway as to why we should hire someone didn’t seem as relevant. We had a very constructive discussion based on skill as to why we should or should not hire. As a hiring manager - it was incredible to see the deep conversation that was fostered from using this. Making better hiring deductions starts with decoding the interview feedback and data. And that’s what we do. Hiring being less biased and more skills based. Imagine! #hirekind
