🌟 Empowering Futures: Bharat's Philanthropic Model with Bhavishyath Counselling We've been collaborating with our friend Bharat for a while now in a unique way, and we wanted to share our story! Bharat grew up in Visakhapatnam, pursued Engineering, excelled abroad, notably at Apple. Along the journey, he developed an interest in real estate, eventually making it his primary focus after retiring from the tech sector. Passionate about philanthropy, Bharat has been closely involved with Vibha, an NGO dedicated to education. He's even participated in marathons to raise funds for Vibha. Moreover, Bharat has been supporting the education of his two nieces in Andhra, who come from modest financial backgrounds. Wanting to ensure they choose the right courses and colleges, he sought help from Bhavishyath, whose founder Vijay has known Bharat since childhood in Vizag. This collaboration has flourished, with Bhavishyath mentoring the girls, verifying financial aspects, and providing updates. We've assisted in selecting suitable courses and colleges, ensuring they stay on track academically. We've even offered guidance on sensitive personal matters. With one niece nearing graduation, our focus now shifts to developing soft skills and aiding in job placement, completing the journey towards independence. Bharat's financial support and encouragement have been invaluable to us, and we're grateful for his backing. My story of founding non-profit organization_Your Educational Researcher-YER **Background Story** During 2021, I faced lots of struggles and depression due to COVID-19 and coup. Not only me, most of the young people lost their dreams. But I managed my life and started to learn content writing skills from free resources. Since I didn't want young people to get lost like me and stop their education for financial issues, I started sharing educational content on social media in order to help each other. **Beginning of founding YER** While sharing educational contents in 2021, I decided to establish an organization to support young people's education. Despite not having sufficient plans and skills, I took a risk and founded a youth-led organization, "Your Educational Researcher-YER" on January 2022. The early days of founding "Your Educational Researcher-YER" challenged me. I had to work 20 hours a day: writing content, preparing for graphics, and tasking general responsibilities since there was only me in my organization. But after I set all the structures and work flows, I offered volunteering opportunities to youths. They started to engage in my organization. **Me and My Organization Achievement** Now my organization has 4 main departments operating with 60 volunteers. I managed all the departments overseeing the projects, responsibilities, and strategy development to advance innovations and achieve key objectives for the overall organization. My organization has now achieved over 1️⃣7️⃣ K followers. We provide free consulting services, free language classes, knowledge sharing, and skills training as well. We also implement impactful projects for youths. ( More than 5️⃣ big educational projects and webinars, not less than 1️⃣🔟 partnership collaborations, ✅) Looking back what I did at my 17th made me proud of myself and that decision I made become the best in my life. This year is the second-year teaching for Fundación Sin Limites, a non-profit working to give tools to Nicaraguan exiled living in Costa Rica. When we teach the class, there's a group of people doing data collection and systematization. Network - what do we think about the ethical problems with "for-profit" universities? I am trying to find the objective problem with them, other than that excess funding is not ALWAYS re-distributed into educational quality. One particular example of this that I have found is that for-profit colleges oftentimes do not have the same library resources that public or private non-profit universities have (databases, mostly). It seems like certain people want to villainize this sector of higher education without much merit to the arguments. Maybe I am wrong - however, I would love to discuss this with anyone who has more information than I.

A lot of us are forced into silence on the multiple genocides because we want to continue to put food on the table, have a safe place to sleep & hold on to our income/jobs. In a conversation with Rebecca Steckle about this kind of silence (the saving my job kind), Rebecca said something I found profound: We understand the need to hold on to your job (work is hard to come by), if you have chosen silence, then you need to make up for that silence in other ways; by helping the people being genocided with the money that you are collecting from your job.   In Gaza: -A 1.5L bottle of water (if you can find it) costs US15. -A handful of uncooked rice & a small piece of meat is US97. Rebecca & Asmaa Haidara are collecting money to support people in Palestine with basic needs like food and water, & they are short $6000 to feed 15 families. How can you help?
