International Stuttering Awareness Day is observed every year on October 22. On this day, we want to highlight stuttering, a speech disorder characterized by frequent and significant disruptions in the fluency and flow of speech. 💬 There are two main types of stuttering: Developmental Stuttering: the most common type, which occurs while a child is still learning speech and language skills. Acquired Stuttering: Occurs as a result of a stroke, head trauma, or other brain injuries, as well as psychological or emotional trauma, or certain medications. By raising awareness about stuttering, we can create a more understanding and supportive community where everyone feels empowered to express themselves. 🌍🤝 #Masiratna #International_Stuttering_Awareness_day #Stuttering
