Phase 2 demonstrations of the EALU-AER SESAR Joint Undertaking Digital skies demonstrator are now complete. This phase marks the end of the second year of the project, and with only one year left and one phase to complete, the project and the technology is maturing well. For this phase, The Shannon Airport Group team were able to contribute their skills and experience in operating UAS equipment in Class C aerospace and within close proximity to an active aerodrome, key deliverables in the project. Our sincere thanks to the stakeholders in the Irish Aviation Authority and AirNav Ireland who enabled this key phase deliverable with their input and effort. About ÉALÚ-AER: ÉALÚ-AER aims at demonstrating U-Space architecture operations and the integration with ATM, leveraging world-class drone traffic management technology solutions. The project will establish Ireland’s first Digital Sky Demonstrator, located at Future Mobility Campus vertiport site, in Shannon, Ireland.
