I am in no doubt that this is an incredibly rewarding position and critical function for effective and intelligence-led policing. Further, these are highly specialised, sensitive and demanding roles - yet the salary bracket I would argue falls below that of an ‘average’ UK salary, given the technical skills required, and far below that of international and private sector counterparts. We need to do more to ensure we not only effectively recruit into these roles but importantly retain our skilled analysts. Better working conditions, better salary and better support is needed.

It’s officially March! With that being said I couldn’t help but to make a bracket of the hardest skillsets to recruit/fill that Aston Carter specializes in.
