I was at a job fair earlier this week and the table next to mine was the Dept of Corrections. They are hiring LOTS and said they ALWAYS have openings!!
I was talking to a friend d the other day who shared that her neighbor’s husband had been laid off from his Customer Success role, so he’s been driving an airport shuttle while job searching, and on average, is out earning his old salary. Hours suck, but tips have apparently been generous.
Climate tech has been hiring steadily for the last two years.
