Alright MI we have one more day! There are so many volunteer shifts and ways to get involved. I don’t like the idea of cold calling people, so I am not phone banking, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t ways to be involved. Soles to the polls helping folks get to the polling station, volunteering in the office, like I just did:), putting out yard signs, sending text messages. There are so many ways to get involved! Text a friend. Check out mobilize.us to find where and how you can volunteer in your home state or in a battleground state. No matter where you live, this election is important not only because of who’s at the top of the ticket but all of the down ballot races are the races that truly impact us on a day-to-day. Don’t know who’s on your ballot go to https://lnkd.in/equrQMVT and build your ballot so you know exactly who you’re voting for and what they stand for. Don’t be the person holding up the line at the voting booth because you need to research all of the non-partisan positions. There are SO many this year. Who are judges are, who is on our school boards all matter! Make sure you are voting for the folks that represent your values. Education, history, peace, love, joy, and an America, where we all belong. That’s what I am voting for!!

It's National Volunteer Appreciation Week, a celebration placing the spotlight on inspiring figures whose invaluable seeds of kindness through volunteering are bettering the community and our world in general. Ideas to Observe National Volunteer Week: - Get involved: Do more than applaud; let your impact be felt. Look around your own community to find various ways in which you can lend your support. - Spread the Word: Volunteers are often overlooked. Be part of the movement to call on more volunteers by using your social media handles to share the message. - Say Thank You: Appreciating volunteers goes a long way to making them feel good about their impact and driving them to do more.
