✨ Big thanks to AIHR✨ 🔍 As I explored the section on behavioral competencies (communication, teamwork, problem-solving, etc.), it became clear that recruiters need to ask the right questions to assess these during interviews. 📊 🎯 Here's an example of a prompt I use with ChatGPT to help prepare specific questions: "Hey, ChatGPT, can you help me create questions to assess a candidate's communication skills? I'm looking to ask behavior-based questions. The role in question is [job title], and one of the challenges is working effectively with multiple teams. What questions can I ask to evaluate the candidate's ability to communicate clearly and foster collaboration?" 💡 This prompt helps to: Generate targeted questions to assess communication in context. Identify how a candidate manages cross-team collaboration. Wednesday thoughts - Each of us reach a point in our careers that we have to determine what impact we want to have. In Human Resources, is it gaining influence within your organization, is it the development of your HR team or it is ensuring the workplace has a clear and consistent path for the treatment of their team members? For most HR professionals, it tends to be a combination of all of these as you have a duty to your organization for a safe and productive workforce, you want your HR team to have constant development and you want a clear path for the People strategy to meet the business goals. I say all of this to show that the HR team has a significant impact to any organization. When the organization recognizes this, it will be one that embraces best practices for creating an excellent place to work for their team members. Each Senior Leader must give a voice to their HR Leader and ensure that voice is enabled to create impact. It is why you have HR. Look forward to hearing everyone’s impact to your organization!
